PERSONAL PROJECT CATEGORY<\/strong><\/p>\n

The LUX Awards have become a benchmark for professional photography in Spain by recognizing the best work in the field.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the awards’ history, more than 24,000 prizes have been handed out to some 3,000 photographers, 260 of whom have received a LUX Gold, Silver or Bronze award.<\/p>\n

To date, over 100 exhibitions have been held at various different venues on the annual circuit. These figures make the LUX Awards an important part of Spain\u2019s cultural heritage; one which also promotes innovation and the development of new ideas and concepts, and foments the communicative capacity of photography.<\/p>\n

The awards are organized by the Spanish Association of Professional Photographers and have been held without interruption since 1993. They present the best images taken by Spain\u2019s professional photographers and showcase the talent of the country\u2019s new generation of artists.<\/p>\n
